Follow Through

It has been a while since we played lawn tennis. I guess it has been a year now. I wasn't sure if we still know how to play it... hahahaha... But we have "JR", our clinic instructor to refresh us where we left off... Well, not so good but not so bad either. We were able to manage returning the ball at one point or another but not always.. We still need to practice rallying, maybe next week.

JR gave us a quick lesson on how to serve, volley and smash. Rallied for a while and eventually decided to give it a break...

Yumi the Snow White - by me Last Saturday, Feb. 12, my niece was celebrating her birthday in advance. Her dad, my brother, is leaving for his work before her birthday, Feb 22, so they celebrated it ahead. My sis-in-law, requested me to take care of the tarp, and I said why not. It will be my gift to Yumi. Fairy barbie Yumi - by Kuya Jer Friday came with the tarp in mind that it will be a Barbie themed, I did not have a design in mind yet. My officemate and dear friend Kuya Jerry is not that busy, so I asked him if maybe he could make one for me. But then he's making one for another friend, so I thought, if he could finish one with a barbie/princess style, that's good, but I'll make one something on a modern rock-in-roll kind, so my niece will have a choice. My First Dive (Samal Island)

I have been intrigued by scuba diving for a long time but didn't have an open door to make a step towards it. I've always been a fan of the world under and fascinated w/ the whole new universe that sea creatures are having. But, as they say, anything is possible! A day to visit the world under "UP CLOSE & PERSONAL" happened for real! Orientation by Sir Ivan I expected to have a better diving chance on our future travel to Coron, Palawan. But what do you know??? Ma'am Beth, the owner of the boarding house where my father and brothers used to stay while in Manila, visited Davao and stayed in our humble home for a few days. Who happens to be an avid fan of scuba diving and wanted to experience diving in Samal Island to add to her list. Well, as expected, mom won't join us since she's afraid of activities like that.
