Gummy Vites Over-effect

Image
My brother Nino, brought home with him a bottle of Gummy Vites, it's vitamins for adult and kids 6 yrs old and above. It looks and tastes like the gummy candies I used to buy in the department stores, trolli. Since it's vitamins and it says 4 piece a day, I said, since Labsy ask me to stop eating those candies I used to buy, I said to myself, this is vitamins and tastes like those candies, so why not... For about a few days, I would take 2 in the morning and another 2 at night, I wasn't actually concerned on what it gives to my body, I was concerned on the gummy candy feel and fruity tastes. Since I really love those candies and used to eat a lot, from 4 piece a day of these vites, I took 8 or maybe 10 this morning alone, I can't really remember, I can only recall I took many delish little candies, and what happened? Felt like I overdose, since I felt so sleepy and really slept for 4 straight hours. In fact, I just woke up a few minutes ago, and still feels heavy an

Morning Jog...

It has been a long time since the last time I went out early morning to jog. Had another chance this morning with Mom, Bro and Labsy. We wanted to bring dutch and mitch along, but we changed our mind cause it will be our first time in People's Park and we don't know yet what we're up against when we get there. So we started the day early at 5:00 AM and went straight to People's Park of Davao City, Philippines to walk and jog for a mile or two. Mom, Bro and I each brought our i-pods to get us a music feel while doing the exercise and for the first time, I was able to use Nike's sensor to monitor and calculate calories lost, time and distance worked out through my i-pod touch, and it was cool. For details, check this site out, http://www.apple.com/ipod/nike/ . After about 30 minutes of jogging and walking alternately as the songs in my touch switched from one after another. A group of aerobics instructors got their music up and started to warm more all the warmed

Sidewalk

From wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/ A sidewalk (also pavement , footway , and sometimes platform ) is a path along the side of a road . A sidewalk may accommodate moderate changes in grade (height) and is normally separated from the vehicular section by a curb (British spelling: kerb), there may also be a strip of vegetation, grass or bushes or trees or a combination of these between the pedestrian section and the vehicular section (known as a parkway/tree lawn in the United States). In some places, the same term may also be used for a paved path, trail or footpath that is not next to a road, for example, a path through a park. Labsy dropped by his office earlier this evening to leave some documents. While his at it, I dropped by Lots for Less to buy a Php 10.00 worth of peanuts. Which was situated right next to its gate, along the sidewalk. Labsy's office building, is right next to this Lots for Less store. So, after buying the peanuts, I walked along the sidewa

Part IV: Bangkok, Thailand - The Show Capital for meauh!

Last of the four place/country stops we had, was Bangkok, Thailand. On August 22, 2010, we were booked at 10:00 AM from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok via Airasia Airlines ( www.airasia.com ). While at Malaysia's airport, I was talked to by the locals in a certain foreign tongue that I couldn't understand. I thought they were talking to me in a Malaysian language, but no, they weren't. They were talking in Indonesian language, because they thought I was Indonesian. Now I know which country I belong, lol...   Anyway, it was our first time to visit all four countries, but in all four of them, Thailand had the most friendly welcome parties. When we arrived, we knew what hotel to go to and somehow, we just planned to take a cab and let the driver deliver us there. But what surprised us was there were lots of agencies and agents, welcoming all travelers and assisted them in getting a hotel or a tour if they need and for us, an agent gave us a piece of paper with the nam

Part III : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Extravanganza!

While Part I was exciting, Part II was interesting, Part III would be exhilarating! After conquering Singapore and Indonesia, it's time to cross the borders and go to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! August 20 was our last day in Singapore, which was scheduled for the Universal Studios, but after an exciting day in US, we bought tickets for a 5-hour coach ride to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Golden Mile Complex, where many agencies would love to take your money and arrange a ride or a tour for you to KL. For more details, you may check out this site for schedule, rates and coaches, http://www.busonlineticket.com/ . The ride was approximately 5 hours, we started traveling at around 11:30 PM, so we arrived at around 4:30 AM. It was too early to go around Malaysia yet, so we went to a 24-hour open Mc Donalds and stayed for an hour. We asked the fast food crew where Chinatown is, where our hotel, Hotel Chinatown2 was located and fortunately, he said, we were just a walk away from it. So w

Dancing...

It had been a while since the last time I danced and I almost forgot how it makes me feel good every time... Earlier today, I needed to formulate something to create a few routines for a group of friends for a dance next week. Well, it was the imagining part that was a bit difficult. But I just recalled a few easy routines I did before and tried to teach them to execute each step. And then after an hour of practice and dancing with friends, it hit me, I missed this. I think I miss it more than I thought I did. But I won't be dancing with them next week since I'll be out of town with Labsy and some other friends. I wish I could though. But what I'm worried most is if there would be enough of them to dance, since only very few who showed willingness to help me out in this assignment. Some can't and some just won't. I felt a little "sting" in me that I don't think I should. Then I just told myself, I should care less and just take what I see. Or sho

Best way to feel better...

One night, it was so tight, so irritating and so painful... My heart that is... I don't seem to understand why does it seem to have a need to feel sad and disappointed... Then I decided to admit that I am... But I had a hard time determining the why... or is it the which? I guess when you have too much emotions put on something, it's either you get too sensitive or too numb.. and I believe I'm a little of both... But to which of which, that I cannot yet answer... But my dilemma remains, how do I get myself to feel better? When I was younger, this more often than not, works... To cry so d*** hard 'til it hurts to breathe and the chest pain is too hard to describe.. Then you'll stop the crying, the pain will start to ease very slowly 'til there's no more...  And so I tried this one more time... I cried, and cried and cried 'til it hurts so bad... Then I looked at the mirror for consolation... I did cry again, for no particular reason, but confusions

Part II: Indonesia, a side trip to fantanesia...

As I mentioned on the Part 1: Singapura, the universal synonym of fun, Part II would be a tale about our Indonesia day tour on the day of our Lord August 17, 2010. The nearest City in Indonesia from Singapore is the Batam City which is a 45-minute ride from Harbourfront. But before that day came, I requested my cousin An, to arrange a tour for us through the website she suggested, http://www.batamholidays.com/ . Well, I tried to book it online but it did not  push through since they required an address in Singapore and by default, I typed my address in Davao, Philippines. The whole day tour package was SGD 42.00 but it excludes the fuel charge, SGD 20.00 to be paid at HarbourFront - BatamFast Ferry Counter upon collecting the boarding cards, the Batam Tax, SGD 7.00 and the Tour Guide tips, SGD 2.00 per person. So all in all, that was SGD 79.00 for each of us. So after a good first night Singapore sleep, we went down to take our complimentary breakfast, which was a couple of toaste

Part 1: Singapura, the universal synonym of fun...

Flying abroad for a vacation was one of the things me and labsy look forward to... Last year was Hongkong and Macau, this year, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand... Four countries with BIG fun and great love... But hey, I won't drown you with all four stories at once. Let me tell you the first stop-over, Singapore, the "fine" city... :D The tickets for the trip were purchased last year through the Cebu Pacific Airlines website ( http://www.cebupacificair.com ). They had a very low fare promo last October 2009. We bought Davao-Manila-Davao tickets, Manila-Singapore and Bangkok-Manila for a total of more or less Php 3,500.00 for two. Imagine how low? It was I think  piso or zero fare promo if I recall it right... Since we went to Batangas last Aug. 14, side tripped to Puerto-Galera, Mindoro on Aug. 15 (see http://donandji.blogspot.com/2010/09/batangas-puerto-galera-beach-breakaway.html for details), then we headed early from Batangas to Manila through a b
