While Part I was exciting, Part II was interesting, Part III would be exhilarating! After conquering Singapore and Indonesia, it's time to cross the borders and go to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! August 20 was our last day in Singapore, which was scheduled for the Universal Studios, but after an exciting day in US, we bought tickets for a 5-hour coach ride to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Golden Mile Complex, where many agencies would love to take your money and arrange a ride or a tour for you to KL. For more details, you may check out this site for schedule, rates and coaches, http://www.busonlineticket.com/ . The ride was approximately 5 hours, we started traveling at around 11:30 PM, so we arrived at around 4:30 AM. It was too early to go around Malaysia yet, so we went to a 24-hour open Mc Donalds and stayed for an hour. We asked the fast food crew where Chinatown is, where our hotel, Hotel Chinatown2 was located and fortunately, he said, we were just a walk away from it. So w...

As I mentioned on the Part 1: Singapura, the universal synonym of fun, Part II would be a tale about our Indonesia day tour on the day of our Lord August 17, 2010. The nearest City in Indonesia from Singapore is the Batam City which is a 45-minute ride from Harbourfront. The whole day tour package was SGD 42.00 but it excludes the fuel charge, SGD 20.00 to be paid at HarbourFront - BatamFast Ferry Counter upon collecting the boarding cards, the Batam Tax, SGD 7.00 and the Tour Guide tips, SGD 2.00 per person. So all in all, that was SGD 79.00 for each of us. So after a good first night Singapore sleep, we went down to take our complimentary breakfast, which was a couple of to...

Flying abroad for a vacation was one of the things me and labsy look forward to... Last year was Hongkong and Macau, this year, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand... Four countries with BIG fun and great love... But hey, I won't drown you with all four stories at once. Let me tell you the first stop-over, Singapore, the "fine" city... :D The tickets for the trip were purchased last year through the Cebu Pacific Airlines website ( http://www.cebupacificair.com ). They had a very low fare promo last October 2009. We bought Davao-Manila-Davao tickets, Manila-Singapore and Bangkok-Manila for a total of more or less Php 3,500.00 for two. Imagine how low? It was I think  piso or zero fare promo if I recall it right... Since we went to Batangas last Aug. 14, side tripped to Puerto-Galera, Mindoro on Aug. 15 (see http://donandji.blogspot.com/2010/09/batangas-puerto-galera-beach-breakaway.html for details), then we headed early from Batangas to Manila through a b...
