Hongkong-Macau-Boracay

Image
At my last post, I asked, WHERE TO NEXT? Here's the answer!!! Off to Hongkong, Macau and Boracay!!! Well, we bought our tickets on a Cebu Pacific Airlines promo last May... Imagine, MNL-HK-MNL was only about Php 5,200 for me and labsy? Nice, right? and our MNL-KAL-MNL (Caticlan flights were canceled) was only Php 1,200? Who would not say yes to that? :D So watch out for more promos next time at www.cebupacificair.com, or better yet subscribe to the promo alert, so they will email or text you whenever... First Day - Sep 26: Manila and HongKong I woke up on a very jumpy Saturday morning (Sep 26), don't know why but I just have this annoying feeling inside, butterflies in my stomach I guess... Well, anyway, we went to the airport for our DVO-MNL flight, but instead of taking off at 12NN, we took off at 3:00 PM, flights were delayed due to the bad weather in Manila... The disastrous typhoon Ondoy came... We were told that Ondoy's here in the Phil., but we never knew how bad Phi

Baguio - always have been the best place to side-trip while in Manila... This time, we (me & labsy) got company... We were with friends, my colleagues.. I had to be in Manila for a dance with my colleagues, we call it The Malong Dance.. It shows the different ways of using and w earing Malong... Anyway, I went there ahead July 7, then labsy came later July 9. We went to baguio with friends on the night of July 9... hmmm... slept the whole trip... :D In going to Baguio, we took a cab from Roxas Blvd, Manila going to Victory Liner, Cubao, we paid around Php 120. Then got tickets to reserve seats going to Baguio!!!! (I think that was around Php 500 more or less). The ride went on for around 6 hours. We arrived there at around 5 am... Krrrrr... quite cold then... went down, took a cab/fx and had an early breakfast at Jollibee. After taking br eakfast, we went on walking from one street to another, embraced the cool breeze and feast on the beautiful views of Baguio. The group rented a

Manila Ocean Park

"Manila Ocean Park" - I told myself, the next time I'll have a chance to be in Manila, I've got to go there... And so when me & "labsy" were in Manila last July, we went there without any doubt whatsoever... I went to Manila last July 7, with my colleagues for our office's 35th Anniversary. My hubby ("lab sy"), followed on July 9 and on that same day, we went straight to Manila Ocean Park after grabbing a meal at MOA, that's right after we met at the airport.... :D Hmmmm... It was fun, but somehow, I guess, I expected too much maybe... Well, generally, the things, fishes and sea/water creatures we saw were nevertheless amazing... it was like being inside the ocean, yet not... Hehehe.... Now let's talk about the payment.... Hmmm... It costs Php 400.00 per person, so Php 800.00 for the two of us, but, if you'll use your credit card, there's a 10% discount, so we only paid 720 for the tour... The tour was fun but labsy said, it

I cried yet again...

Image
And so it fell... And then comes the sobbing, the sneezing but the pain didn't stop... I cried yet again because of anger and pity.... I lost another dear one... I lost her because I failed to be a good caretaker... I hate myself for being so relaxed and forgetful... I've been wanting to give her the meds, but forget to buy one every time... I wasn't able to visit her as often as before... I was careless... And I blamed myself for losing her... And now, I missed her... I missed my Kiki... She was a brave friend... And an intelligent one to add... But she's gone... I'll never gonna see her again... But I wanna tell her, I'M SORRY... That's the only thing left to say... I'm forever grateful to her for the laughters we share... and forever be sorry for my shortcomings and for the things I missed... Goodbye Kiki... I hope I can make it up to you somehow... I loved you...

Be Grateful For Your Job

Be Grateful For Your Job The Word for Today with Bob Gass Sunday, 25th January 2009 In every thing give thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NKJV It's too easy to complain about your present position, whether it be as a nightshift cashier in a supermarket or the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, without appreciating how you got there. Where would we be without mothers taking up part time work so that their children could take piano lessons, or fathers working second jobs so that their children could attend college? Before you go any further, stop and give thanks for the contributions others have made in your life. You say, "But things are not going too well for me right now." Perhaps, but when Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers he couldn't possibly conceive that God would turn their evil intentions inside out and establish him as a leader to save the nation. The Bible records story after story where adversity leads to advancement and loss leads to gain. There's a m
