GMRC - Good manners and right conduct! So easy to say, not that easy to do. Some even don't actually know what that is. A few weeks back, it was more than just a realization. With all the social networking sites available right at the tip of our fingertips, literally I might add, I noticed it doesn't just open up a new horizon and means for socialization, it also made us see another persons personality. To some, these sites have become another form of addiction. They're online 24/7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). If you're one of those who are, at some point, stays longer online than hanging out with real people, you might be interested on this link, http://www.lifehack.org/articles/productivity/managing-your-social-network-addiction.html . I am definitely not perfect. But each day I believe, we all try to be the best person we could, or not really, maybe at least try NOT TO BE the worst person we could, though sometimes we ended up being one. And sometimes, we...

2010 Spillover 11 : Bohol-Cebu with In-Laws

Image
Near Kidstown entrance in Sagbayan Peak, Bohol Bohol is a place next to home for me... Well, that said, I guess we need not count the times that I've been there. Mamo and Papo is so fond of their home place, why of course! But late November of last year (2010), Mom, despite our convincing schemes and pre-bought tickets, she did not join us on our Bohol trip. This time, me and Labsy, my neice ("Neneng"), my mother-in-law ("Ma Susing") and uncle-in-law ("Uncle Rudy or Manoy to most"), got our gears up and went to Bohol for a somewhat homecoming and some pleasure escapades. Checking In for MNL-TAG flight So, Nov 26, we all went to the airport for check-in. Me and Labsy were a little worried for Mama since she's half-paralyzed and so she is differently abled. She can walk though, but very slow and she could easily get tired walking. But when we reach to the check-in counter, and requested a wheelchair, there were no worries from then on, we ...

Living Room Furniture

Image
It's "ber" time... Christmas time is approaching... Hmmm... I have always wish I could change the facade of my living room on some occasions.. Well, festive look on fiestas, happy look on birthdays, adventure look on March, summer look during summers... If only I have the time to do so, it would have been so nice to experiment.. Curtains would be red, white and green, sofa would be polka dots, dining table amazingly set up, the bar would be so enchanting and you can see Santa Clauses everywhere in the living room... Maybe I'll just find some stuff to dress up all my living room furniture... Hope I could find where to buy them that is... and most importantly, I can afford them... Lol... Well, I'm not done yet, furniture will not be the only ones dressed up, there will be Christmas place-mats everywhere, even the TV and it's remote control will have their own Christmas attire to boast of... And of course the star of the living room on occasions like thi...

Blue Waters made the so called weekends...

Image
Bro#2 came home (Philippines) recently, and before that, he kept on asking which resort to visit on one of our weekends. I gave him lots of ideas and places but he was intrigued by mom's favorite place/resort in Samal, Davao del Norte where she kept describing as the best so far. Mom never really like going to Samal cause it entails either riding in a boat or the ferry, but she will not deny herself if it is going to Blue Waters Beach Resort. So one fine weekend of July 10 and 11, 2010, we decided to visit Blue Waters, stayed overnight and had soooo much fun together. Ten of us stayed overnight, mom, bro & gf, me and labsy, my neice, her mom (sis-in-law), her nanay, labsy's cousin and my neice from Bohol. Two stayed only for a few hours, Bing and Baldwin, cousins of sis-in-law. They have different room types available for you to choose from but we picked the one in the Garden which can accommodate everyone. This costs Php 4,000.00 for 8 occupants and additional of  Php...
