2010 Spillover 02 : Life Enchantment!

If by any chance we get to go to Manila, we don't normally stay in the city and enjoy the lights and the crowd... We normally go to places for adventure and fun!

With our best efforts to find fun and adventure, we went to Laguna to be enchanted in a kingdom full of amazement and surprises. Before going to EK, we filled our selves with a late lunch, then headed to Buendia for the JAC Liner hitech-wifi enabled bus... (we were browsing for available flights going to Bacolod) and paid Php 35.00 each (not bad aye? And it's air conditioned). We alighted at Walter Mart, walked a few meters to the tricycle's loading area and paid a Php 8.00 fare each going to the main entrance of EK.

The last time we went to Enchanted Kingdom was about two years ago, August of 2008 with bros Nonots and Bebots. We had fun with the rides and the unexpected display of uneasiness by Bebots on most if not all rides we went to.

November of last year (2010), Bebots didn't join us but Helen (Nonot's GF) and Mamo did. We paid for the ride-all-you-can day pass (Php 500.00) with a 20% discount (at least one of the group is a government employee to avail the discounted rate).

We took the rides we never had the chance to the last time. The up-up and away, the 4D, and the Rio Grande Rapids, which was closed when we came to visit last time. We were lining up to ride the mini roller coaster and the EKstreme, but didn't continue. After the we thought a harmless Up-up and Away ride, Helen got a bit seasick or something, maybe having nausea I guess, so we all went to their clinic for a glass of hot water and a cotton with a little white flower oil in it.

We all rested for a while, watched some performers in their main entrance doing a theatrical show and waited for the fireworks to amaze us with awesomeness!

After the fireworks we lined up again for the most fun ride EK has, the Rio Grande Rapids (I wouldn't want to go home without it again!). We convinced Mamo to ride with us too, and despite her hesitations, she did. And asked a lot of questions while on the line...

When our turn came, we all sat, fastened our seat belts and relaxed for a bit. Then the rapids started to swirl our ride and water started to come inside and the next thing we knew, we were all shouting and laughing and a bit scared at the same time!!! Coolest experience ever! After the ride was over, we all went out and changed to something dry cause nothing escaped from the rapids not even our heart bits...

If you'd ask me if I'd want to do it again, I say, the h*** YES!
