Piso Fare...

We celebrate our Independence day every June 12, but what definitely shaped and gave a new meaning to independence is the Cebu Pacific Airlines (www.cebupacificair.com). A day before independence day, today, June 11, they scheduled a Piso-Fare promo to all domestic flights... But, they announced it a day before, thus June 10, my officemate Sheila already received a notice of the promo through text and another officemate saw a tweet in twitter. So, June 10, yesterday afternoon, everyone in the office was so excited because they already saw it in Cebu Pacific's website and they started booking already.

And what do you know... I joined in the fun... Booked 8 people (me, labsy and officemates and friends neil, mae, sheila, anna, gigi & jom) for DVO-MNL-DVO on March 12-16, 2011 for only 1,577.84 with baggage. And of course, me and labsy on Jan 22-26, 2011 for DVO-MNL-DVO for 194.90 and MNL-PP-MNL also for 194.90 only, in time for his birthday and our wedding anniversary.. cool aye?

We intended to book another Feb series trip, for me, labsy and his officemates but to no avail. I guess all seats have been booked or sold out as they say... Maybe next time... In times like these, there should be no room for doubts, just push those tiny keys and click the magic left button and book yourselves... If you can't make it when the time comes, you wouldn't mind much cause it wasn't that expensive...

My First Dive (Samal Island)

I have been intrigued by scuba diving for a long time but didn't have an open door to make a step towards it. I've always been a fan of the world under and fascinated w/ the whole new universe that sea creatures are having. But, as they say, anything is possible! A day to visit the world under "UP CLOSE & PERSONAL" happened for real! Orientation by Sir Ivan I expected to have a better diving chance on our future travel to Coron, Palawan. But what do you know??? Ma'am Beth, the owner of the boarding house where my father and brothers used to stay while in Manila, visited Davao and stayed in our humble home for a few days. Yumi the Snow White - by me Last Saturday, Feb. 12, my niece was celebrating her birthday in advance. Her dad, my brother, is leaving for his work before her birthday, Feb 22, so they celebrated it ahead. My sis-in-law, requested me to take care of the tarp, and I said why not. It will be my gift to Yumi. Fairy barbie Yumi - by Kuya Jer Friday came with the tarp in mind that it will be a Barbie themed, I did not have a design in mind yet. My officemate and dear friend Kuya Jerry is not that busy, so I asked him if maybe he could make one for me. But then he's making one for another friend, so I thought, if he could finish one with a barbie/princess style, that's good, but I'll make one something on a modern rock-in-roll kind, so my niece will have a choice.
