Image
mga batang X @ virgin island Hey guys, I've been too overwhelmed with the fun runs these days and I missed a few places we (me and labsy) went to that I haven't shared yet. We have been to Panglao Island, Bohol before around April of 2008 but we haven't tried island hopping and dolphin watching yet. My brother and sister-in-law was in Bohol earlier last year and they were our inspiration to do the Balicasag Island hopping and dolphin watching. heading for dolphin watching We contacted the boatman my sis-in-law gave us and we haggled the whole day island hopping plus the two snorkeling gears for Php 1,800.00. Usually they don't include the gears, you'd have to pay Php 100.00 for each. If you're interested re the boatman's contact info, include your email add in the comment and I'll get back to you... :D It was Nov 28, 2010, our 3rd day in Bohol and Balicasag Island... here we come!!! company... awaiting... High School Life... oh my high school life...

As the song goes ...."every memory kay ganda"... It has been 17 years since I graduated from my high school Alma Mater. I still get to see a few friends on some occasions, like weddings, christenings, and the likes. There were a few times, I think a couple of times where we had get together but it was not really a major reunion. We often let the grand reunion organized by the school go since we imagined no one's gonna show up. And for more than one time, indeed very few would be there. The last grand reunion last year was also celebrated by our batch in FB with batchmates all over the world present... cool aye? We were asking each other who attended, and most of us said, "I did'nt". lol... Newly discovered Love Team Romh and Cristy Thanks to facebook, a batchmate, Cristy, set up a group account for our batch and to date, we have 135 active members constantly communicating or at least checking and giving some updates. And that's where everything st...

Child's Love...

Last night, Labsy and I was busy trying to sand some furnitures at home. After this pre-painting activity, we rested and watched tv, just in time for ABS-CBN's XXX. Their featured story, made my heart hurt and mind wondering... It was a story of an old mother, caged during some times in a day and when they (daughter and son-in-law) take her out, a little more than a child's comfort was in order. The video's audio was clear enough we can hear the old lady saying "aray" ("ouch") on every hit from her own cane or a spank from the back of her neck/head. The scene saddened us and made me think of my parents... I prayed in silence and said "Lord, let me live long enough to keep away any harmful person that would or even try to do that to my parents and keep me sane to not do that myself"... I asked myself how could a child do that to her mother? Maybe she was a bad mom? When the daughter was interviewed, she said, they caged her during the day ...

Too difficult to love? Or excuses?

Do you ask these questions? Am I too strange that you cannot see the simplicity of my being? Am I too strong, that it hides my fragility and weaknesses, that you simply ignore the depth of my pain? Am I too invulnerable that you find me difficult to love? Questions we sometimes ask. We even wonder why we needed to ask them? Questions we never thought we would one day... Was I wrong to have loved? Did I have the person who love me the most? Would he/she have my suffering a priority? Or would he/she be my knight in shining armor? Would he consider me in pain when I am and carry me, or would he take advantage of my weakness and stab me with unpleasantries? would she see my difficulty and assist me or would she let me suffer the consequencies of being who I am? We don't and cannot control another human being let alone ask them to feel how they should toward us. More often than not, it's a matter of how dear are we to them. How badly they want pain in or out of us. Or what p...

Part IV: Bangkok, Thailand - The Show Capital for meauh!

Last of the four place/country stops we had, was Bangkok, Thailand. On August 22, 2010, we were booked at 10:00 AM from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok via Airasia Airlines ( www.airasia.com ). While at Malaysia's airport, I was talked to by the locals in a certain foreign tongue that I couldn't understand. I thought they were talking to me in a Malaysian language, but no, they weren't. They were talking in Indonesian language, because they thought I was Indonesian. Now I know which country I belong, lol...   Anyway, it was our first time to visit all four countries, but in all four of them, Thailand had the most friendly welcome parties. When we arrived, we knew what hotel to go to and somehow, we just planned to take a cab and let the driver deliver us there. But what surprised us was there were lots of agencies and agents, welcoming all travelers and assisted them in getting a hotel or a tour if they need and for us, an agent gave us a piece of paper with the nam...
