Fun (but a little sad) Runs....

Image
Before the Run Me and Labsy just recently joined another craze activity these days. The Fun Runs! This morning was our second time to join, it was sponsored/organized by Globe, the "Dagan-dagan sa Kadalanan sa Araw ng Dabaw 2011" ( http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=116942955044019&ref=nf ), while the first one was by Asics/Run Club Davao ( http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=149779665075497&set=a.100228730030591.37.100001303920363&ref=nf ). During our first time, we ran on the 4K category, and this morning we tried the 5K. The run was fun, we had a lot of walks and talks along the road too... lol... :D cellophanes along the road Recently, I've got asthma attacks ( http://donandji.blogspot.com/2011/01/asthma-attack-to-higher-level.html ), so during the first run, I was a bit hesitant, and to keep me secure, I brought my inhaler. :)) Luckily, I didn't have to use it during the race. The run did not give me too much hard time that made the inha...

My Bad!

Image
It's Friday again and it's badminton night... Me and Labsy were absent last week because our niece Yumi was in the hospital, and we accompanied her and her mom for the night. So I prepared our things for the game tonight. The extra shirts, the game gears and of course, the badminton rackets... So, I checked  on the rackets and I was thrown by the shock of my day! MY RACKET WAS TWISTED!!! Literally twisted that is.. :( I guess somebody must have sat on it while in the car... :( I was about to cry but didn't. You know why? Because when Yumi saw my racket as I showed mom how it looks like now, her face glowed with excitement and she wants to borrow it. I never have the lightest hands to give my racket to my three-year-old niece except this morning... And then, it didn't feel bad at all! She was playing with it! And she can bang it all she wants... It was broken anyway, at least, somebody was still happy despite it's condition... :D   What doesn't work for us, ...

Bowl Spinning...

First sport I learned from Papo was bowling. He used to take us (me and bros) to his tournaments to watch him play, win and have fun with his officemates. Sometimes he would let us throw his first or second ball when he wanted to prove he can hit all the pins in one spin. Well, he didn't always get a strike but he sure was one of the best and loud players in their group. :D Now that I've grown up, I've had a fair chance of playing on tournaments in my workplace, as well as Labsy and the whole family still sneak out every chance to play bowling and have fun... Last Saturday, Labsy had a ten pin tournament. Well, their group did not finish champion and his not one of the best players. But Monday morning (earlier today) came, which was the awarding, he was surprised when his name was called, he won the highest pinning! It's an award for the player who got the highest score but without any strike or spare in all frames... That was one award he never expected. And what I lik...
