2012 06 : Coron, Palawan Vacay Part II

Malcapuya Island  After putting up Part I of the Coron, Palawan adventure, now I am obliged to finish Part II and conclude the whole experience. Our first Island Tour was arranged by Coron Galeri, but we seemed to be looking for something that wasn't there. So our next Island tour, we asked the GLC attendant if they have a boat contact and he gave us Ms. Joy. She and family owned a motorized banca used for island hopping. Bulog Dos Island For the usual near places and beaches visited by tourists like Kayangan Lake, Atwayan Beach, Coral Garden, Barracuda Lake, Twin Lagoon, Japanese Shipwreck, Siete Pecados, Twin Peaks Reef, CYC Island, Smith Beach, etc., they will lend the boat with a boatman for Php1,500, although you may need to pick the nicer places since you cannot cover everything in one tour and be able to enjoy them at the same time. Corregidor Island Chance Tour

In our last getaway, it was trekking to Mt. Taal and we were astounded with what our country can offer foreign and local tourists. Which somehow made us think of how was Philippines years ago when we were not so free to travel & take vacations within our own country. So, we decided to refresh our knowledge in history and took chances for a day tour at Corregidor, where huge portion of our history happened. It was one Monday morning of Dec. 12, 2011. We woke up early and went straight to Sun Cruises office to try our luck as chance passengers/participants for their day tour in the Island of Corregidor. Luckily, chances granted for all six (6) of us. Although, we only got the sun deck, non-air seats, but it was a refreshing ride nonetheless. Manila-Baguio-Hundred Islands-Manila...

Baguio - always have been the best place to side-trip while in Manila... This time, we (me & labsy) got company... We were with friends, my colleagues.. I had to be in Manila for a dance with my colleagues, we call it The Malong Dance.. It shows the different ways of using and w earing Malong... Anyway, I went there ahead July 7, then labsy came later July 9. We went to baguio with friends on the night of July 9... hmmm... slept the whole trip... :D In going to Baguio, we took a cab from Roxas Blvd, Manila going to Victory Liner, Cubao, we paid around Php 120. Then got tickets to reserve seats going to Baguio!!!! (I think that was around Php 500 more or less). The ride went on for around 6 hours. We arrived there at around 5 am... Krrrrr... quite cold then... went down, took a cab/fx and had an early breakfast at Jollibee.
